The original recipe by Gaston Lenôtre remains unchanged. The Valencia almonds, aged to perfection, are still there, as well as icing sugar, egg whites, and caster sugar. "Using a French meringue allows us to release all the aromatic substances of the almond and enhance its sweet, milky, and slightly herbaceous flavours," says Guy Krenzer. Thus, the characteristics of a good macaron are found with a smooth surface, a slightly crunchy crust, and a melting heart. This pleasure in the historical recipe and the original know-how, based on the French meringue technique, is one of the best-sellers of the House! The macaron is a symbol of our way of life and our pastry know-how, an example of elegance, balance, and delicacy!

Tasting advice

Store in its packaging at 4°C until the expiry date indicated by the shop. To fully enjoy our macarons, we recommend taking them out 10 to 15 minutes before tasting to reach room temperature.
