The original recipe by Gaston Lenôtre remains unchanged. The Valencia almonds, refined to perfection, are still there, as well as icing sugar, egg whites, and caster sugar. "Using a French meringue allows us to release all the aromatic substances of the almond and enhance its sweet, milky, and slightly herbaceous flavours," explains Guy Krenzer. This results in the characteristics of a good macaron with a smooth surface, a slightly crunchy crust, and a melting heart. This pleasure in the historical recipe and the original know-how, based on the French meringue technique, is one of the best-sellers of the Maison! The macaron is a symbol of our way of life and our pastry know-how, an example of elegance, balance, and delicacy!

Tasting advice

Keep in its packaging at 4°C until the expiry date indicated by the shop. To fully enjoy our macarons, we recommend taking them out 10 to 15 minutes before tasting at room temperature.
