The original recipe by Gaston Lenôtre remains unchanged. The perfectly aged Valencia almonds are still there, along with icing sugar, egg whites and caster sugar. "Using a French meringue allows us to release all the aromatic substances of the almond and enhance its sweet, milky and slightly herbaceous flavours," says Guy Krenzer. This results in the characteristics of a good macaron with a smooth surface, a slightly crunchy crust and a melting heart. This pleasure in the historical recipe and the original know-how, based on the French meringue technique, is one of the best-sellers of the Maison! Tasting tips

To fully enjoy our macarons, we recommend taking them out 10 to 15 minutes before tasting at room temperature.This recipe was developed using high-quality raw materials that required a freezing step. To preserve all its sanitary and organoleptic qualities, we advise you not to refreeze this product.
