The chardonnay grape is the soul of Maison Ruinart. Its grapes, primarily sourced from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, are at the heart of all its cuvées. Everything is freshness and balance in R de Ruinart. Its beautiful proportions: 40% chardonnay, 50 to 55% pinot noir, and 5 to 10% meunier. Its colour: yellow with golden highlights. Its brilliance: crystalline. On the nose: fine and fruity. Aromas of light-fleshed pear and dried fruits - hazelnut, almond - are prominent. Then notes of white flowers, accompanied by aromas of pastries and buttery brioche.
